I finally have a picture of the first big piece
I ever did. This was given to my dad years
ago. I wish I knew the year. This is in a
frame under glass. It was hard to get a good
picture but this is pretty good. I finally
remembered to get a picture when I went to
visit him in NJ. I am so happy I finally
remembered to get a picture for my blog.

wow..amazing piece of work...
What a beautiful stitched piece Cindy! That surely must have taken time to finish.
Isn't it touching how our parents treasure our stitching?
Your ornaments on your previous posts are adorable. What a cutie for your daughter....lots of love in that one!
Merry looks great...I like opalescent linen too!
Moda fabrics are the best, aren't they?
It is so nice....a family treasure.
I believe my friend has this framed on her wall as well. What a wonderful piece to cherish always!
What a wonderful piece.
It's nice that he still has it around. I know my parents still have all the pieces I've made them. I can't say the same for friends!
Cindy, I love the pic on your blog opening. That is a christmas plate from the magazine Cross Stitch and country crafts isn't it? I had the magazine years ago. I had a collection of them but lost them in my move south.
That was your first piece? Impressive!
Oh, Cindy, I love this detailed piece. All the time you spent on this & all the colors.
I did a Noah's Ark as a banner for S.S. It took a while also.
That must have taken an incredible amount of time, Cindy--a true "labor of love" for your dear father. I'm sure he thinks of you each time he sees it...Really lovely :)
It's gorgeous. Great job!
