Happy halloween

Dressing with an official farragut cheerleader uniform, our theme in work was football.  Knoxvillr, tn is a huge college football town.

This was a quick stitch.  I finished it with sparkle gold trim, on the back is a aqua blue fabric. Very pretty colors in it. 

Freebie that I stitched in 2012

This is a piece that I finished stitching in 2012. I finally put the finishing touches and made it into a small pillow. The fabric has tiny bubbles in it, so it matches perfectly.  The next pictures are pumpkin raisin pancakes, and roasted sweet potato soup.  Don't you just love the fall food.

I finished two pieces. Peace bird from just cross stitch 2013 ornament magazine. Both pieces finished on linen. The beads really make these pieces.

Stocking finished

Linen stocking finished.  This was a kit,  snowflakes & holly.  First complete finish in a while.

Happy Blogversary.  I know I am a couple of days

late.  I am just getting back into the swing of things.

August is here - I am starting to get settled in the new house- more pictures to come

I can't believe it is August.

I finally had furniture delivered today.

I have some shots of the diningroom.

The river is close to where I live, not

to far.  It is so nice and peaceful there.

The saying I have in the diningroom is

awesome, it really makes the room.

I will be posting more updated of the 

house as more progress is made.  I

A wedding gift finally finished

I Finally finished a wedding piece a for a great

friend and an old supervisor.  Chris and his

beautiful bride to be are getting married

on July 17.  He was an amazing supervisor.

 He will be an awesome husband.  

Even though I am over 20 years older, he

is a great friend.  I miss working with

him.  I will not be able to attend his

wedding due to my work schedule, but

I will be there in spirit.   This piece

is done on 40ct linen.  Really pretty.

I am hoping to find some small wedding

bells to attach. 
I added lace trim on the outside, it is 
complete now.  so pretty.

great in the new house.

Smoky Mountain National Park

We took a day and went to Smoky mountain National park.

This is less then an hour from where we live.

We went up to clingmans Cove. 6,600 feet.

It is an amazing view.

The mountain view is so pretty.

An amazing park.

Memorial Day Weekend

I closed on my house in Tenn. on Monday, May 30th.

I have so much to do.  I painted the master

bedroom and bathroom.  I havent been able to 

stitch much but in time I will fall into a routine.

The house is a 3 bedroom ranch, with two full

bathroom.  It is a pretty large yard.  I am

so thankful .  I miss my kids greatly and

hope someday they will come around.
