Ride A Bike - Again

Ride a Bike By Lizzie Kate.
If you remember I did this for my
daughter for her birthday in march.
I really love to ride my bike so I did
one for myself. I changed somethings.
I added the bee pin, how cute is that?
I trimmed it in aqua/blue/green ribbon.
I love this color. Really hot, hot, hot here,
but I always say better then snow.

Shepherds Bush Finish

Pattern by shepherds Bush. This was a
small kit I purchase at my LNS. I really
like the ribbon that came with this piece.
This is the First time I have used the ribbon
in this way. The colors are bright and
uplifting. It is a quick stitch. I hope all of my
stitching friends are enjoying the summer.
I havent been stitching as much lately.
Enjoying my walks and biking outside.

The dog days of summer

The dog days of summer. My dog boomer who has
been waking me up early every morning to go out,
and then she sleeps all day.

Let shop finish

This design is by margaret sherry. I love
to shop and thought this would be a great

PS finish

I finished a Praire schooler piece, Farm Fresh. Doing the
oval finish was a challenge. Posted are pictures
where I do my walks several times a week.
It is down by the water at one of the inlets to
the ocean. I love this park. Boats are hear,
going in and out all the time. I love the smell of
the salt water. One my walk yesterday I met
mister turtle. I have never seen a turtle down
there. How cute is he. This place is Wantagh Park, NY.
The photos were taken with my cell phone. Pretty
nice photos for a cell phone.

I put together some fabric covered thimbles.
these have been sitting for quite a while.
finally able to post some pictures. what a
great way to jazz up some thimbles.

Gold Finch by PS

Happy Memorial Day to all who serve us and those
who have served in the past. A special thanks to
someone dear to my heart in Heaven - Tom - he was
a Vietnam Vet - he was the man who raised me. He
is on my mind today. The pattern of the Gold
Finch's is by Prairie Schooler. Done on linen.
This piece is for an exchange.

The bird I was able to get a quick photo of was in my
back yard. He was eating a worm.

I love color and love these fabrics. The are so
pretty. The bundles are quite cute that I picked
out. These I did not buy in a store, I purchased

Well packaged and quick shipping. I thought I
would pass the site onto my stitchers.

Lifes a stitch

Two great finishes. Both patterns are by
Lizzie Kate. The bloom pattern was a
freebie and I switched it around a little bit.

New fabrics

Some new fabrics. I love these colors. I was packing up
somethings to ship out today. Sending a blessing to
someone else is what I like to do. I received a generous
gift today from someone I love dearly, thank you dad.
I truly believe what we put out into the world we will get
back. Grampa sam played a part, he is smiling from
heaven. If you look on a post from last year you will
see Grampa sam passed last year and was a great
stitcher.
