I have cross stitch ornaments throughout the house.

The first year I bought a table top tree and decorated with cross stitch ornaments.  The only other ornaments on the tree are from my daughter Amanda who traveled over seas and bought them back for me.

I finished small town Christmas from the 2013 cross stitch ornament issue.  This is a pretty detailed piece.  The beads are so  pretty.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.   I truly enjoy cooking thanksgiving.  Homemade cranberry sauce and stuffing are some of my favorites.  Everyone enjoy.

A tree in my yard

I see this tree from my kitchen window.  A great view.  I captured in one week the change.  Pretty amazing. No mores leaves.

Trip to highlands, nc

I recently took a trip to highlands, nc.  Its about a three hour drive from knoxville, tn.  I did a bunch of hiking trails.  Really a great time of year to go.  Some good places to eat.  Wolfgangs was excellent, some of the best food I have had since leaving ny.  Sports page sandwich shop is also very good.   One of the best places to stay is at old edwards inn.  The spa is rated #2 in the country.   The last picture I took, I was standing under the waterfall.

Dressing with an official farragut cheerleader uniform, our theme in work was football.  Knoxvillr, tn is a huge college football town. 

Another finish from 2013 jcs magazine

This was a quick stitch.  I finished it with sparkle gold trim, on the back is a aqua blue fabric. Very pretty colors in it. 

Freebie that I stitched in 2012

This is a piece that I finished stitching in 2012. I finally put the finishing touches and made it into a small pillow. The fabric has tiny bubbles in it, so it matches perfectly.  The next pictures are pumpkin raisin pancakes, and roasted sweet potato soup.  Don't you just love the fall food.

I finished two pieces. Peace bird from just cross stitch 2013 ornament magazine. Both pieces finished on linen. The beads really make these pieces.

Stocking finished

Linen stocking finished.  This was a kit,  snowflakes & holly.  First complete finish in a while.

Happy Blogversary.  I know I am a couple of days

late.  I am just getting back into the swing of things.

August is here - I am starting to get settled in the new house- more pictures to come
