12th Finish of the year

My First Gray Hare. I had seen this
pattern on another blog and knew I just had
to do this piece. I have never seen a gray
hair but I do update the roots every couple of
months myself. I am a blonde, but the older you
get the darker the roots get. I am sure one day
I will have my first gray hair moment. I have
heard a lot of stories of the first Gray Hair.
Do you have a gray hair story??
This is the 12th finish of the year. I am
working on a larger piece for my baby who
will be 16 on June 23. This piece is a challenge
but should be done soon and I will post a picture.
Thank you everyone who visits and leaves a comment
on my blog, it truly makes my day.

Hmm.. my hair is naturally black and the older I get the lighter (ahem... grayer) they get. Thank goodness for the color in the box!

Your gray hare looks adorable. Congrats on the finish.

What a darling bunny, Cindy! Wish I could say I hadn't gotten my first gray hair yet, but I started in my early 30s!! Thank goodness for hair color :)

Who in the world is this chart by??? I really MUST buy it~~~ As I clear my throat, I DO think I have a gray hair or two, but thanks to the miracle of having you hair highlighted, lets just say both of my gray hairs are buried deep among the many other colors~~~ Too cute~ Faye

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! I need to stitch it, where did you find it? There's quite a long-running joke about me and my gray hair- I'm only 23 and have to dye it becuase it's totally gray :-S this would be GREAT to stitch and hang somewhere in my house!

Super cute finish!! As soon as I spot the gray in my hair, it's off to the hair dresser that I go.

I have far too many gray hares to count...I think they have a hutch somewhere in the crown of my head and have begun to breed. LOL!
This is a wonderful finish.

Your gray heair is very cute.

If memory serves me right, I found my first grey hair while I was prego with Connor, at the age of 27!

My Dad found my first gray hair when I was 16. I am now 43 & probably 75% gray. I was doomed to it as I have no memories of either of my parents as anything but gray/white headed. I know I could color it, but I have a ton of hair that grows really fast (an inch a month). I would be touching it up all the time. I have neither the extra time nor the extra money do that. Plus this is how God made me, so I just roll with it.

Lucky! I get a few around my temples and my dark hair really makes them POP. That is really cute though ;)

Hi Cindy
I'm Leslie from Calgary, Alberta Canada.
I just came across your Blog of My First Gray Hare and wanted to ask you how to obtain this pattern? I have been trying for days and just can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thought perhaps you might have some suggestions.
I really want to stitch this for my sister-in-law.
Any assistance would be appreciated. These older patterns are so great but difficult to find.

Thanks so much for your help.
