I watched food Inc last night. I feel sick - I won't be eating meat for a long time.
It is a very educational movie - you would be surprised.

Cindy,
I haven't watched it yet myself, but I know of it and what it's about. If you can find a good, local source of organic, free-range, pasture fed meat, then you can know that you're eating something good for you.
It's the meat that's been fed on grains (corn in particular) that's so bad for you. You'll also find that there is a world of difference in the taste!
Oh no I love my meat!I don't think I would watch it.
I had the same reaction! I love that most of the burger we eat is the venison DH hunts. I will be looking up more 4-H kids projects and buy them and not from chain stores!
I plan on watching it but I don't think my opinions on eating meat will change. We do already buy our beef from a local farmer, but only because it tastes WAYYY better not because how the animal is raised. My thought process is these animals are bred\raised\killed to go on my plate and that's that.
