My First Gray Hare. I had seen this
pattern on another blog and knew I just had
to do this piece. I have never seen a gray
hair but I do update the roots every couple of
months myself. I am a blonde, but the older you
get the darker the roots get. I am sure one day
I will have my first gray hair moment. I have
heard a lot of stories of the first Gray Hair.
Do you have a gray hair story??
This is the 12th finish of the year. I am
working on a larger piece for my baby who
will be 16 on June 23. This piece is a challenge
but should be done soon and I will post a picture.
Thank you everyone who visits and leaves a comment
on my blog, it truly makes my day.

That is too cute, a little late for me, have had gray hares for years.
Very cute!
Hmm.. my hair is naturally black and the older I get the lighter (ahem... grayer) they get. Thank goodness for the color in the box!
Your gray hare looks adorable. Congrats on the finish.
this is so cute
So cute!! If I stitched that my kids would just laugh!! I think it's ALL grey now...only my hairdresser knows for sure.
LOL, I love that design
What a darling bunny, Cindy! Wish I could say I hadn't gotten my first gray hair yet, but I started in my early 30s!! Thank goodness for hair color :)
Who in the world is this chart by??? I really MUST buy it~~~ As I clear my throat, I DO think I have a gray hair or two, but thanks to the miracle of having you hair highlighted, lets just say both of my gray hairs are buried deep among the many other colors~~~ Too cute~ Faye
Very cute!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! I need to stitch it, where did you find it? There's quite a long-running joke about me and my gray hair- I'm only 23 and have to dye it becuase it's totally gray :-S this would be GREAT to stitch and hang somewhere in my house!
Love it! Congratulations on your finish.
This is cute! Lovely finish.
Super cute finish!! As soon as I spot the gray in my hair, it's off to the hair dresser that I go.
Tooooo cute!
Very cute design Cindy!
How sweet is that? To bad my gray hairs aren't so cute! I have a family hare posting today, too!
What a fantastic finish! I have quite a lot of grey hairs but they don't show too much as yet! Lol!
I have far too many gray hares to count...I think they have a hutch somewhere in the crown of my head and have begun to breed. LOL!
This is a wonderful finish.
Such a little cutie. I can't remember when I got the first grey hair, I'm grey all over by now, lol.
Thanks for the info~ I will definitely check out this 4 My Boys design....too cute, Faye
Adorable! LOL
Your gray heair is very cute.
If memory serves me right, I found my first grey hair while I was prego with Connor, at the age of 27!
Thanks so much for the info Cindy, I'll definately be ordering this pattern, LOVE it :-)
My Dad found my first gray hair when I was 16. I am now 43 & probably 75% gray. I was doomed to it as I have no memories of either of my parents as anything but gray/white headed. I know I could color it, but I have a ton of hair that grows really fast (an inch a month). I would be touching it up all the time. I have neither the extra time nor the extra money do that. Plus this is how God made me, so I just roll with it.
Very cute!! I turn 50 in 2 weeks....so yes, I've seen my first of many gray hairs!
Lucky! I get a few around my temples and my dark hair really makes them POP. That is really cute though ;)
Hi Cindy
I'm Leslie from Calgary, Alberta Canada.
I just came across your Blog of My First Gray Hare and wanted to ask you how to obtain this pattern? I have been trying for days and just can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thought perhaps you might have some suggestions.
I really want to stitch this for my sister-in-law.
Any assistance would be appreciated. These older patterns are so great but difficult to find.
Thanks so much for your help.
Leslie Russell
