completed. I added swarovski jewels to the piece.
I do not know where my camera walked away to,
so these photos were taken with my cell phone.
I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.

Bath and Body Works

Some Christmas Deals. Yes, I did start shopping.
I love a great deal. Bath and Body works has my
favorite candles by Slatkin and Co. I no longer
buy Yankee Candle because they do not burn
properly. Slatkin candles burn all the way
down to the bottom. Here is the great deal that
I got. The three wick candle was on sale for 15.00.
With the purchase of the candle they gave away
these beautiful silver candle holders in different
holiday motifs. I had coupons
for 10.00 off a 30.00 purchase. So these big candles
and the holder only cost me 10.00 a piece. The candle
alone retails for 19.50 and the candle holder retails
for 5.00. So a 24.50 gift only cost me 10.00 dollars.
Sharing this idea for anyone out there that likes a
good deal. You can get a some good deals if you
hunt for them. I had four 10.00 coupons so I split
it into four transactions. I love the smell of candles.
Everyone loves candles as a gift.

New York City

Today I took a day trip into NYC. I went to one of
my favorite restaurants Gotham Bar and Grill.
The first photos is blackened Cod with a Soy
Ginger Sauce, with bok choy, sticky rice, and
wild mushrooms. Oh so yummy. The second
photo is Tuna Tartare. No one makes it like
Gotham. After the big lunch, I headed over to
the City quilter where I picked up some fabrics.
Next I headed over to the garment district for
all of my cordings and trimmings. I love my city.
It was a great day in The Big Apple.

Good tidings to you

Good tidings to you is from the JCS 2011
ornament issue. The fabric I used to make this into a pillow
couldn't be more perfect. I added mill hill beads to the
wreath. These extra touches is what makes all ornaments
different. I really enjoyed doing this piece. This is a gift for
a stitcher. I am sure they will enjoy it. The holiday season
is all about giving for me. It gives me great joy to give to other people.

My morning Glory's

My Morning Glory's have finally bloomed.
I just love the color of these flowers. They
just started blooming last week. To me
that seems very late in the season to bloom.
I had to share. I love my flowers. My son
and I grew these babies from seeds.

A day trip to Cape May and Ocean City, NJ

I took a day trip today to First Ocean City, NJ.
The last picture on the bottom is from the huge broadwalk there.
A big tourist place. My visit to this town was to get some
cookies made by Crazy Susans Cookies.

Her cookies alone were worth the trip. Next to cape may, So
many victorian houses. A quaint town. I ate That huge
Lobster for lunch, and was he good. 20.00 and came with a huge salad and bread and butter. Yummo. I have stitched and
will post some pictures soon.
