Be Mine
This blue bird was stitched from the
JCS ornament issue 2006
By JBW Designs
This was a gift for someone who lost
A family member
From the JCS 2011 issue
Snow Happy. By Glory bee
Done on a 32 ct
I changed the arm and made the nose orange
A red cottage
By plum street samplers
I changed the design to fit the size
Of a pillow. The house color was changed to
Gentle arts cranberry. The called for
Color GAST mulberry was rust colored
Not red. So I switched it out.
Sunshine on a stem. By hands on designs
I switched the blue to dmc 931 and picked
A red for sunshine. Finished in brighter
Colors.
This piece was stitched by my
Stitching friend Peggy who passed away.
I do not know the pattern or linen.
I found this in a box and finished it
To a pillow. Very pretty colors.
One of the stitching displays
Snoopy by leisure arts
Done on 28Ct bridesmaids
The matching pieces, I just used fabric
In a 3in hoop. Adds a nice touch to the display
Prairie schooler
Farm fresh book 108

I added a wool heart on the back.

You have been busy. Thank you for the link to the valentine's patterns, I will look them up later. x
All cute finishes.
Love the birds, we have a lot of Chickadees here, so cute.
They grab a seed, go in the tree, grab a seed, go in the tree.
Repeat, repeat, repeat. lol

What beautiful ornaments Cindy. I love your Valentine's display and can't believe how quickly you put it all together! How lovely that you're enjoying your friend Peggy's stitching too, you really honoured her with your special finish of her lovely stitched bird.
So many beautiful Valentine's Day finishes, Cindy! Good for you! I think this is the first year in a long time that I don't have a single Valentine's Day finish... Oh well!
I'm sure you'll enjoy using the display shelves that your brother-in-law made for you--how nice of him :)
