Button hanger Finish and a new designer

 Christmas Chorus by Erica Michaels
2006 JCS ornament issue
Pg. 50  this was done on
36 Ct. Sand Edinburgh
I made the wire button hanger
with buttons.
There is a video deomonstration
on how to make this on
my Flosstube Video #11
Cindy's Cross stitch on Youtube.
This design is By Arlene Cohen
She has an Etsy store called
WorksbyABC
This is called Antioch Quilt block
She does PDF files and will also
mail the charts.  She does some
amazing work.  Her floss tube channel
is Called Arlene Cohen on Youtube.
As i was stiching the pattern adding
each color changed the design.  You
can easily choose any finish for this
piece.  This will be made into
an ornament which i will show in
my next post.

My son chris finished his first
cross stitch piece.  I will be framing
this for him.  We may have a new
stitcher in th community.
My salad garden in full bloom.
i pick from this every day.
Moo came to stay with me for a week
while my sister went on vacation.
He loves me for sure.

Have a blessed memorial day weekend.
Happy stitching.

Oh, dear! I'm going to have to go on a search and see if I was collecting stitching magazines in 2006! Love your chorus and the button finish!

What a great idea on the button hanger for your ornament! I really like the quilt block you stitched and thank you for providing the designer info on her Etsy shop. Way to go on your son and his finish! I wish him many more stitches down the road. Your garden looks super and Moo looks like he is having a good time.

Love the cross stitch projects but love the salad garden even more!! Can you tell me where you live and how you get it to do so well?? I'm in OH and planted lettuce and it all got eaten then put in kale seeds and as they started to come up they were all eaten but one tiny plant!!?? Now have lettuce in pots on my deck that I bought plants and did that way!! Would love your secret and sorry this is so long!! :))

A darling finish, Cindy, and I look forward to seeing your tutorial on the button hanger. Am trying to catch up with your floss tube videos today :) You are doing such a lovely job on them!!

I am so happy you have another stitcher in the family--Ryan's finish is adorable and I know you'll finish/finish it for him very nicely :)

Your garden looks fantastic--so healthy and fresh. You must just love going outside and picking things for dinner each night!

Happy June to you--summer is here! YAY!!!
