Today I went strawberry picking. I went outto wading Riving, NY - long island. what amazed
me was had of the crop was ruined due to all the
rain we had last week. But, in about a half hours time
I was able to fill these three quarts of strawberries.
Only 6.00 for all three. The are so good.
It reminds reminds me of the beatles song "
Strawberry Fields Forever". The best thing about
picking the strawberries is the taste and you dont
get any rotten ones in the bunch. Carol I, I was
thinking about you when I went picking, how your
month of june was about strawberries in cross stitching.

Yum! They look wonderful. It has been a long time since I have been to Wading River. I always was amazed at all the farms on the northern part of Long Island.

Aren't the strawberries amazing this year, Cindy!? My strawberry stitching is going very slowly this month, but I hope to have a couple of strawberry-themed finishes to show next week :)
