Much love to All.

Noel from the JCS ornament issue 2008
Page 20 by Prairie Moon.  This was by
far the hardest ornament I have done.
The finishing was extremely hard to do because
of all the curves.  It is the first ornament done with
felt on the back.  I love the Americana colors.
The stitching is always the easy part for me.
Finishing is the challenge.  This was definately a
big challenge.  Love when they are finished.

I have been working on two exchanges.  I can't
post pictures yet.  They are really nice.

Great ornament. I can believe that it would be very hard to finish, but you've made a fantatstic job of it

Not sure I'd be brave enough to finish it like that! I would have left it in a rectangle! LOL Your hard work paid off though, it looks great!

Like you, I prefer the stitching to the finishing, but yours looks wonderful, Cindy! I love the colors in it...great job :)

I LOVE this Noel ornament! I just ordered fabric to make both this one and the matching Joy Angel from JCS Ornament issue 2007. I've been searching blogs for anyone who has actually made these angels, and here you are in the Gift of Stitching group! I like your finish too, flat instead of a pillow.

What a great ornament! Congrats on doing the finishing yourself--it looks wonderful. My inability to do beyond the very basic finishing has stopped me from doing a lot of ornies--good on you for doing it!

Pretty ornie! I am with you, I despise finishing. If I had the money I would pay someone else to finish a lot of my little pieces.
