My first Chatelaine by Martina
Autumn Scarecrow
This was a freebie but was taken down,
you can still purchase the pattern at
Chatelaine website.
I learned the Rhodes stitch both small and
large. The gold beads are so pretty.
I started small and will be moving on
to larger pieces. Martina still has
a couple of freebie patterns on her
website to download. This was my
first PDF file.
This piece was laced on the back
and mounted with magnets. The
pumpking plate is metal. Inspiration
from Priscilla.

My first county fair
You are only allowed to enter one
piece in three different catagories.
I won two first place ribbons and one
third place ribbon. I do encourage
people to enter their pieces to
show cross stitch and what can
be done these days. The local
county fairs have some amazing
talent. If you want more details
on the fair you can watch my
Youtube video under flosstube:
