First finish of the year

My first finish of the year.
LHN N pole express
this piece is so adorable.
I changed it a little bit.
The polar bear is so cute.
It is hanging by my fireplace.

I took down my tree yesterday.
It is like putting friends away for the year.
You can see them comfy in their box.
Does anyone feel a bit of sadness taking down the tree?
or is it just me?
I keep them under my bed with care.
the tree goes in the garage.

Cindy, gorgeous first finish for they year and yes, I too, feel a bit sad when all the Christmas decorations come down - but as I read just the other day on someone's blog - only 49 weeks to go to Christmas! lol!

Oh how sweet! Yes, but I am usually ready for the Christmas things to be put away.

Cute finish.
You have a nice collection there.
It is kind of sad to take the tree down.
I took ours down last weekend.
Hubby loves all of the hand-made ornaments.

Congratulations on your first finish, Cindy! It is adorable. I took down and put away Christmas this past week. It is always a bit sad, but I also look to the fresh start. Plus the snowmen/snow stuff will be hanging out until February. What type of box do you use to store your ornaments in?

Your newest finish is so sweet, Cindy! I have yet to finish anything for 2017... seem to be moving very slowly these days now that I'm officially old :) Thank you for your sweet birthday card and chart--that was so very thoughtful of you...

Love seeing your box of ornaments. Sometimes throughout the year, I just pull my ornament box out from under the bed and the sight of them always makes me smile :)

Enjoy your day!

What a cute finish! Usually, I'm ready for a fresh start so it doesn't bother me to take the tree down - although if I had a box of lovely ornaments like you, I would probably want to leave it up all year. : )

Hi Cindy, I have only just discovered your blog by eye-spying your adorable Polar Express on Pintrest. I am new to ornament making but hope to have a collection as beautiful as yours by year's end. I can't wait to explore your posts for inspiration. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your talents here for others to find. Elizabeth

A beautiful ornament finish. It's so sad having to put away all of the ornaments from the tree, but such a delight to get them out again! You have a box full of beauties.
