I recently took a trip to highlands, nc. Its about a three hour drive from knoxville, tn. I did a bunch of hiking trails. Really a great time of year to go. Some good places to eat. Wolfgangs was excellent, some of the best food I have had since leaving ny. Sports page sandwich shop is also very good. One of the best places to stay is at old edwards inn. The spa is rated #2 in the country. The last picture I took, I was standing under the waterfall.

Wonderful pictures Cindy. My mother was from Knoxville and I still have an aunt and cousins who live there. I have fond memories of our trips to Knoxville when I was a child.
