A new year means new beginnings. Change things you are unhappy with, cherish the things you love. A new year brings new stitching possibilities, also!!

Happy Birthday! And thanks for the Christmas card. I don't do New Year resolutions, or even make lists of things to accomplish. So bringing in a New Year isn't much different than any other day. Did your mom win the contest for first baby born in the new year???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

And Happy New Year! What it means to start a New Year to me: LEAVING the crap of 2011 behind! I am spending the majority of the weekend stitching.

Happy Birthday! The start of the new year means for me to get clean out the old and start fresh. I also reflect on things of the past year and see if there is anything I can work on to make better. Thanks for the chance.

New years means:
1. I have survived "almost" another year of my life.
2. My birthday is only 10 days away.
3. I reflect on my life.
4. I reflect on everything my parents did for me to make me who I am today.
5. I remember all those, from my family, who have gone before me and wonder when I will get to be with them again.
6. I remember the 1st love of my life who has left this Earth and wonder if I will see him, again, when I leave the Earth.

Happy almost birthday! (and thanks for sharing with us.) Since I have a miserable cold/sinus infection, hopefully the new year means feeling healthy again. Seriously, though, I look forward to marking 2012's occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, just blessed days.

Happy Birthday!

Since I always have a few weeks around Christmas & New Year's off, it's a time for me to relax & re-energize so that I can face the next 12 months with vigor and contentment.

I don't usually write down New Year reslutions, but the New Year always brings surprises, adventure, trying out new techniques, being thankful for my family, and trying to stitch and sew as much as I have time for.
Happy Birthday and thanks for a chance to win a surprise.

Happy Birthday Cindy!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! The new year for me means I will be hopefully getting to see my nephew graduate from high school. This nephew has been sickly since shortly after birth and at one point we were told that he may not live past the age of 10. He is to graduate at the end of May. He is my buddy even though we live at opposite sides of the country. 2012 also means that I will be turning 50 years old. And yet I feel that I really had not started really living until I met my honey back in 2009. He has helped me to see life in other perspectives and there really is so much beauty in the world.

A very belated Happy Birthday to you.
The new year is a very visible time/deadline to make a decision to change and then implement that change. I know that I can and should make changes throughout the year, but I find it easier to stick to them when it's a major date.

Happy belated Birthday to you, hope you had an awesome day. Always it's hard for me to start another year, this one's specially hard because my grandma isn't with us anymore, she used to love this days alot and her bday was in the early days of the year, we'll have a service for her bday..., in other note, I always make a plan during this month about the projects I'd love to work during the year :)!

Happy belated birthday Cindy. Hope you had a wonderful day. And also, happy new year to you.

The new year for me is a chance to try some new things (I'm doing a fun run/walk next month... a first for me) and make more time for things I enjoy (i.e. more stitching time would be good).

Thanks for entering me in your giveaway.

Happy Bday and Happy New Year, Cindy! I hope 2012 brings much love and laughter, health and happiness to you and your family!

Starting a New Year, to me, is like starting a new chapter in my book of life. I look back at my accomplishments and things I would like to change from the year before in order to put closer on the past; and then start the new one with a clean slate working to live up to my full potential and making the best out of everyday.

I would love to be entered into your give-away! Thank you!

Enjoy the day!
Lisa

I am so prayerful that this year brings a lot more happiness for me & my family. We lost my Dad in March of 2011 & in October of 2011 my mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. She is doing well now, but it's been a rough year. The Lord above, my family,& my stitching have gotten me through it.

Hi,
I always like to see what you are working on. I finally took time this holiday to work on a project which I'd be only too glad to be done with. I have not let myself start a new one until this is conmplete, not to menntion that it was a b-day gift for someone a few years ago!

Happy stitching in the new year! You seem to have a great start!

Wishing you a special birthday & Happy 2012!
My plan for the new year is to stitch
from my huge stash and try not to buy anything other than thread. Now, I said it, do I believe it??!
Many blessings...
