HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
We have a lot to be thankful for. I enjoy each
stitcher I have met since I started my blog. I am
thankful for so many things, my family, my kids,
my 2 jobs, my dog who knew it was turkey day,
the roof over my head, I could go on and on. I
am truly blessed by the lord.

I made this ornament for a special Friend in work. She is moving to VA and her last day in work is on Monday. She will be so greatly missed by me. Fatima is a person who makes it a little bit easier to be in work and survive the corporate games they play. I know I will stay in touch with her always. She is one of my soul sisters forever. I love you Fatima- F as in Frank.
Pattern is by Lizzie Kate. I added two different fibers.
Fatima loved the ornament. I gave it to her today.

Someone Stole my mom Christmas ornaments
Someone stole my moms christmas ornaments. How sad is that.
I put together a box of ornaments from my collection.
Three collections I have been working on for a while -All Hallmark
Santa's from around the world, Mary's Angels, and Flower Fairies.
Also put in a couple of extras - 2 cross stitch ornies among them.
We aren't supposed to be attached to things, so I let go of some
of my favorite ornaments. I know my mom will be excited when she receives them. Here is the good news, she keeps all of the cross stitch ornaments I make her on a small tree in her bedroom all year long.

Noel from the JCS ornament issue 2008
Page 20 by Prairie Moon. This was by
far the hardest ornament I have done.
The finishing was extremely hard to do because
of all the curves. It is the first ornament done with
felt on the back. I love the Americana colors.
The stitching is always the easy part for me.
Finishing is the challenge. This was definately a
big challenge. Love when they are finished.
I have been working on two exchanges. I can't
post pictures yet. They are really nice.

Black Bird Mini cross stitch stocking
I have completed my first Blackbird cross stitch mini stocking. It was hard for me
to hand stitch the shape of a stocking. I am pleased with the out come.
